The Board of Trustees and the Governing Council of Mountain Top University MTU invites applications from suitably qualified candidates with cognate experience in university teaching, research and administration for the following teaching staff positions mentioned below:
PROFESSOR
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have been an Associate Professor for Three (3) years and possess a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least 10 years of University teaching and research experience.
Must have a good record of scholarly publication in reputable journals.
Administrative experience is also required.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have been a Senior Lecturer for at least Three (3) years and possess a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Eight (
years experience in University teaching and research.
Must have a good record of scholarly publication in reputable journals.
Administrative experience is also required.
SENIOR LECTURER
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Candidates must a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Five (5) years experience in University teaching and research experience.
Must have a good record of scholarly publication in reputable journals.
LECTURER I
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Must have a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Four (4) years of teaching and research experience in the relevant areas in University or comparable institution of higher learning
Candidate must have been a Lecturer II for at least Three (3) years.
LECTURER II
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Candidate must have a Doctorate Degree in the relevant area with at least Three (3) years of teaching and research experience in the relevant areas in University or comparable institution of higher learning.

ASSISTANT LECTURER
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess a good first Degree and a Master’s Degree in the relevant field.
Candidates must have registered for P.hD in any recognised University.
