The Test Manager role has oversight of all testing activities including estimating and resource planning at the program and portfolio level. The role also collaborates with Project Management, Application development and multiple test teams in the planning and execution of projects. The Test Manager is responsible for the analysis, design, planning and execution of testing for projects and initiatives. The role demonstrates extensive knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and techniques for creating a high value and technically-driven Test Team that is strong, independent, formal and unbiased. JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide day to day leadership and direction to test teams during all test cycles
Ensures cross functional training and self-development of test resources across projects.
This role will publish appropriate dashboards and metrics to project teams, and coordinate across all functional teams for quality and test deliverables.
This role will also provide continuous improvement of project test standards, guidelines and governance and participate in global test initiatives and governance. Overseeing execution of assigned client-specific software testing projects, tools and techniques
Manages risk/impact analyses for the projects
Responsible for estimation of testing effort including the creation and management of test schedule and escalation if deviation are foreseen or occur
Responsible for the creation of project test plans and test cases
This role will execute test cases and record defects where and when necessary
Work with the developers to understand the technical requirement/design being built in a project
Work with the business analyst to understand the business rules and requirements for a project

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related areas
5 – 8 years of test related experience including 2 – 4 years in a test leadership role.
Capable of overseeing and coordinating a group of testers (and other project participants when working within the capacity of a Test Project Manager) on any given project. Will have accountability for multiple projects or a single large project.
The ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification or similar certification is desirable
TEST LEAD
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Test Lead role performs planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities on small, medium to large scale projects. The role assures conformity to Tezza’s and Clients’ testing practices and standards across all project as well as coordinating cross portfolio interactions and dependencies.
This role working with Project Management (Test Managers or Project Managers), Application Development and multiple test teams, manages the analysis, design, planning and execution of testing for major corporate projects and initiatives. They lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites and thus they must demonstrate knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and techniques to enable them manage daily workload of Test Analysts and give direction.

Form a working relationship with the clients within which you have responsibility.
Develop Test Plans for projects within your divisions and feed those into the project plans of the customer’s larger projects.
Ensure suitable resources are scheduled to the testing projects to allow the testing of those projects to occur within the required time-frames.
Work from Functional Specifications to ensure appropriate Test Scripts are prepared which cover the testing requirements of a project, and which will test the software to agreed guidelines.
Manage testing resources to ensure accurate and precise execution of the Test Scripts and ensure documentary evidence is produced and recorded in the agreed format.
Verify defects are effectively recorded, communicated and understood
Ensure appropriate test environments are established and maintained.
Develop a network of internal and external contacts to improve technical knowledge and improve communication channels.

3 – 5 years of professional experience building complex commercial, enterprise PHP and MySQL web applications
Proven track record with PHP 5; Zend Framework, 1Laravel 4 or 5 (+) and working with Restful APIs
SMySQL; Experience with properly indexing tables, optimizing queries across multiple large tables and with writing complicated queries by hand
MSSQL; Basic experience working with MSSQL and MSSQL stored procedures (+)
UNIX;Basic experience working from a CLI and the ability to configure an Apache server from a CLI (+
