LEAD ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN


JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervise power plant, electrical distribution system and Power Management System (Low and High Voltage)

Supervise instruments and control systems

Organize, control and perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the power plant and electrical distribution system as per Computerised Maintenance Management System

Organize, control and perform maintenance of the power plant, electrical distribution system and electrical equipment

Organize, control and perform maintenance of instruments and control systems

Organize, control and perform maintenance of Information Technology, communication and navigation systems

Organize, control and perform maintenance of metering systems;

Organize, control and perform maintenance of emergency and backup power systems

Perform planning of electrical and instrument maintenance activities

Responsible for Password integrity of all Safety and Control systems. Assign system access levels

Administer electrical and instrument modifications requests under management of change procedure

Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Review information in database to ensure it is technically valid, accurate and up to date
Prepare and administer required reports

Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively

Ensure that vendors and contractors electrical and instrument equipment is fit for purpose and have valid certificates

Undertake training relevant to the position requirements;

On-the-job-training of subordinate and trainees;

Assist in competency assessment and performance evaluation of subordinates


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil and gas operations and maintenance, at least 8 years of offshore oil and gas experience on production platforms at supervisory level.

Operation and maintenance of ICSS / SCADA / DCS equipment

A good understanding of the relevant codes and standards for IT systems is a prerequisite.

A reasonable understanding of E & I installation and testing

Fluent spoken and written English.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, for dealing with a broad spectrum of cultural and organizational styles, as well as being able to fit in as a team player.

Fit and fully mobile, so as to maintain the supervision at the various locations where activities related to the work will be carried out.

Proven experience of supervising and coordinating the activities of a multi-discipline maintenance team.

Good computer and use of computerized maintenance management skills;

LEAD MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN


JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for a number of systems including the following – controls, fire systems, motors, pumps, inverters, boilers, chillers, pressurisation units, water booster sets, CCTV/ security systems, general power and lighting

Managing on site the facilities team and third party sub-contractors ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards

To allocate work and completion in accordance with the monitoring system.

Providing an element of cost, programme, safety and build ability advice on proposed maintenance and capital improvement works

Adherence to all Statutory Standards and Regulations

Supervising and coordinating a small team of in house maintenance contractors.

Responsible for daily checks on the building management systems so that they work at optimum efficiency

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

ICSS TECHNICIAN


JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure maintenance /operations carried out under his field of responsibility are carried out in strict accordance to client`s safety and PTW policies.

Monitor ICSS and sub systems performance and perform front line maintenance to maintain system integrity and performance

Upgrade system software as required

Assist instrument technicians in different maintenance tasks related to the ICSS system.

Ensure software revisions are valid and licensed

Execute control modifications and/or corrective actions for Alarms, labels, wrong animation etc. Ensure control changes are tracked and properly authorised under the Client`s MOC system

Ensure ICSS documents and drawings are correct and updated

Propose modifications to improve ICSS efficiency/operability.


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

DCS engineering diploma

Minimum of 10 years in DCS maintenance in oil/gas industry

Competence in ICSS systems(Vendor/model)

Proficient in MSWord/Excel/Power Point/Project

Good organisational, verbal and written communication skills

Results-driven, focussed on delivery and quality of the projects.

Able to hold own ground when challenged by others, being able to present a balanced view when putting arguments forward.

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
